We are currently seeking a qualified Medical Director for the Emergency Department at Oswego Hospital located in Oswego, New York. The 11-bed Emergency Department provides emergency care to over 20,000 patients annually.
Physicians who take advantage of this Emergency Medicine opportunity will enjoy local physician leadership, flexible scheduling, occurrence-based malpractice coverage, free online CME and freedom from non-competes. Medical Director’s compensation package includes a substantial monthly stipend.
As the leading area health care provider, Oswego Health is composed of Oswego Hospital, The Manor at Seneca Hill, The Seneca Hill Health Services Center, Springside at Seneca Hill, and various other services and facilities that make it an integrated, comprehensive healthcare system. Oswego Hospital is a 202-bed facility that provides acute medical services to residents of Oswego and the surrounding counties. It features a variety of services that include ICU, Maternity, Pediatrics, and Surgical services.

All physicians are partners of Port City Emergency Physicians, LLP, a registered limited liability partnership. Physician partners are eligible for health, optical, and dental insurance at group rates. Physicians have the option to participate in a 401(k) plan, as well as life and disability insurance at group rates. Candidates must be board-certified in Emergency Medicine or board-certified in Family Practice or Internal Medicine with Emergency Department experience.
