We are currently seeking a qualified, full-time Medical Director for the Emergency Department at Terre Haute Regional Hospital located in Terre Haute, IN. The renovated 16-bed Emergency Department provides emergency care to over 23,000 patients annually.

The Physician who takes advantage of this Emergency Medicine job opportunity will enjoy local physician leadership, flexible scheduling, occurrence-based malpractice coverage, free online CME and freedom from non-competes. The Medical Director's compensation package includes a substantial monthly stipend.

All physicians are partners with Indiana Emergency Physicians, LLP, a registered limited liability partnership. An excellent compensation package is offered to part-time and full-time physicians. Physician partners have the option to participate in a 401(k) plan with immediate 100% vesting. Additionally, physician partners are eligible for health, life, disability, optical and dental insurance through payroll deduction. Malpractice insurance with unlimited tail coverage, or on an account basis is provided.

Terre Haute Regional Hospital is a 278-bed, community-based medical center that has been providing quality, individualized patient care for over 129 years. It is also a member of Hospital Corporation of America. In 2004, Terre Haute Regional Hospital added a two-story tower for the ER and ICU. They also expanded their imaging department into a comprehensive Outpatient Services Center, including the addition of new MRI and CT scan units, nuclear medicine and radiology equipment. In 2006, Terre Haute became the first Wabash Valley Hospital to be designated as an Accredited Chest Pain Center by the Society of Chest Pain Centers and Providers.
